Prince George’s County Executive Jack Johnson
announced that this year’s theme: “Prince George’s Women
Continuing A Legacy of Leadership and Service” will differ from
the National theme, in order to celebrate the county’s special
recognition luncheon that has been consistently hosted for the
past 25 years to honor outstanding county government
women.
“From past to present, women continue to make
significant contributions in the operational, administrative and
public safety sectors of our county government,” said Johnson. “I
am proud that our county has been hosting this important
luncheon to honor and celebrate women in government.”
During the luncheon, the highly anticipated
Gladys Noon Spellman Award and scholarships will be presented.
